About Club Rollei User

Club Rollei User is open to all Users, Collectors and Enthusiasts of Rollei photography. Although based in the UK, the club has membership from all over the world. In addition to the quarterly magazine there is one annual event for members to compare equipment, share anecdotes and submit photos to the annual competition. More recently, we have additionally arranged a spring photographic break. There is also a Rollei 'postal' portfolio group.

Due to change in Rollei membership demand, we are removing the option to order a physical copy of the magazine.

New and existing Members will continue to have access to all back issues from the website and new quarterly digital issues as content and contributions continue.  Of courses contributions of articles and photographs on Rollei matters are always welcome and should be sent to John Wild preferably in electronic format.

Rollei List

This is a list dedicated to the technical history of the evolution of the Rolleiflex camera from its original inception by Franke & Heidecke as a stereo camera in the 1920's to the medium-format and digital cameras produced today. The list emphasis is on the rapid development of lens and shutter designs spurred by the Rolleiflex cameras over the past eight decades and the impact these cameras are having today on the evolving technology of digital photography.
